Our Ceramics
Munaze: Specially Hand-made by Munaze's Ceramic Artists
Munaze was launched in 2003 as "Byeokje-Jagi" and began to make and deliver handmade ceramics to Byeokje Galbi’s restaurants. In 2014, it was renamed as "Byeokje-Doye" and produced more delicate and artisan ceramics. In 2023, it is debuting to customers under a new brand called "Munaze" based on the strong basis that has been built for about 20 years.
Munaze's craftsmen, believing that ceramics also create a beautiful dining experience, design and produce every single ceramic with fine touch; turning the wheel by hand, carving it one by one, and drawing with a delicate brush. Our inspiration comes from the heritage of Korean ceramics, which boast an unrivaled status in the world. We respect the identity and value of our tradition, which has developed into a unique aesthetic consciousness from Buncheong to white porcelain, and to reproduce the treasures of ceramic history.
The precious heritage of our culture, which would have been in the museum, has been reborn as a modern use by our artisan ceramics. Please enjoy the beauty of our culture through Munaze.
